Key Dates and Practice Schedule

Key Dates:
Equipment (helmets, helmet covers and shoulder pads) will be distributed on Tuesday August 12, 2025 at Lum Field House.
Official Practices  starts Monday August 18, 2025.  Any practices held the week of August 11 will be announced by grade.  All practices will be held at Lum Field unless otherwise noted.  Full Games schedules will be posted once set by league in August.  Typically 8 weeks  plus wo weeks of playoffs/superbowls if qualify

Opening Week: 

8/11:  Tip of the Spear Team Clinic:  Summit (38 Butler Parkway, Summit, NJ 07901) - No Equipment - Shorts/Cletes

3rd/4th Grade: 5pm-6pm

5th/8th Grade: 6:30-8:30pm

8/12: Equiment Handouts - Lum Field House (Specfic Times TBD by grade)

8/12-8/14: Practice TBD by Grade - More Info to follow

Week 1:
8/18 (Mon):6-8pm
8/19(Tues):6-8pm
8/20 (Wed)6-8pm
8/21 (Thurs):6-8pm

Week 2:
8/25 (Mon):6-8pm
8/26 (Tues):6-8pm
8/27 (Wed):6-8pm
8/28 (Thurs):6-8pm - Joint scrimmage/practice

Week 3:
9/02 (Tues):6-8pm
9/03 (Wed):6-8pm
9/04 (Thurs):6-8pm
9/05 (Fri):6-8pm
9/06 (Sat): Scrimmage - TBD
First Game: 9/13 or 9/14 - Times and location TBD

During the regular season (after the first game) practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm and Saturday morning from 9-11am. There may be intermittent changes by team based on Back to School Nights etc. Individual teams will communicate those changes as they arise.
